As ex-computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we felt first-hand how the lack of tools to prepare quality training data was impeding the progress of building AI. AI today is what the early days of computing or the internet were like, where the potential of the technology is clear, but the tools and processes surrounding it are still primitive, preventing the next generation of applications. This is why we started Encord.

We are a talented and ambitious team of 60, working at the cutting edge of computer vision and deep learning, backed by top investors, including CRV and Y Combinator, leading industry executives like Luc Vincent, former VP of AI at Meta, and other top Bay Area leaders in AI. We are one the fastest growing companies in our space, and consistently rated as the best tool in the market by our customers. We have big plans ahead and are looking for a rockstar Commercial Associate to join us in building our GTM team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve our marketing website, ensuring it remains fresh and aligned with our brand
  • Implement performance optimizations to improve Core Web Vitals and loading speeds
  • Build and maintain components following our design system and coding standards
  • Support growth experiments by developing new features and interactive tools
  • Work with design and growth teams to bring their ideas to life
  • Help monitor website performance and implement improvements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of professional web development experience
  • Strong proficiency in front-end technologies:
    • - React and Gatsby.js
    - GraphQL for content queries
    - HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript
    - Tailwind CSS and responsive design
    - Version control with Git
  • Understanding of web performance optimization principles
  • Experience with headless CMS systems and content management
  • Ability to build responsive and mobile-friendly websites
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Gatsby and Prismic ecosystem
  • Experience working in startup environments
  • Understanding of SEO principles
  • Familiarity with A/B testing
  • A meticulous eye for detail, delivering high-quality work and owning your projects from start to finish.
  • Proven track record of building responsive websites that deliver stunning experiences across all devices.
  • Previous work in a startup or agile environment is a plus.
