Day to Day
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ETL jobs using Talend to support enterprise data integration requirements.
- Build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple data sources into target systems.
- Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts and SQL scripts to support ETL workflows and batch processing.
- Design, configure, and administer ETL job scheduling using Autosys.
- Perform complex data transformations using Talend components and SQL queries.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for large datasets, ensuring efficient data processing and performance.
- Support unit testing, UAT testing, and production deployments for ETL jobs.
- Monitor ETL workflows and provide production support, troubleshooting job failures and resolving data issues.
- Perform performance tuning and enhancements on existing ETL jobs to meet evolving system and business requirements.
- Manage Talend server administration tasks, including job monitoring, deployment management, and runtime support.
- Work closely with data architects, application teams, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data integration solutions.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production support as required.
