Role summary

Empower India Data Science is seeking a Senior Analyst, Data Science – Brand Measurement & Marketing Analytics to help build and operationalize a cross-channel brand measurement capability. This hands-on individual contributor will integrate brand health, reputation, earned media, social media, thought leadership, creator, search, AI/LLM visibility, and digital engagement signals into a practical measurement framework.

The Senior Analyst will own defined measurement workstreams spanning data and platform configuration, data integration, analysis, dashboard development, and stakeholder communication. The role conducts diagnostic and deep-dive analyses to identify trends, drivers, anomalies, opportunities, and potential issues and translates findings into actionable recommendations for Marketing, Communications, and business partners.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative or research discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in marketing analytics, brand analytics, consumer insights, communications analytics, media intelligence, data science, market research, or a related measurement field.
• At least 2–3 years of direct, hands-on experience in brand measurement, brand health, reputation measurement, social listening, communications measurement, or related cross-channel marketing measurement.
• Experience developing or materially contributing to KPI frameworks, scorecards, or recurring measurement programs, including metric definition, source mapping, benchmarking, trend analysis, and documentation.
• Experience independently completing complex analyses from business-question definition and data preparation through diagnostic analysis, interpretation, visualization, recommendations, and stakeholder delivery.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python for data extraction, preparation, integration, data-quality validation, analysis, automation, and repeatable reporting.
• Experience using APIs and structured or semi-structured marketing data.
• Hands-on experience with brand intelligence and measurement platforms one or more or comparable platforms such as Meltwater, Sprout Social, Muck Rack, CreatorIQ, and Ahrefs.
• Experience developing dashboards and scorecards using Tableau, Power BI, Amazon QuickSight, or comparable business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of brand and reputation measurement and survey research, including awareness, familiarity, brand associations, trust, credibility, relevance, consideration, recommendation/NPS, brand lift, longitudinal tracking, sampling, weighting, cross-tabulation, statistical significance testing, and trend interpretation.
• Knowledge of earned media, social listening, and creator measurement, including Boolean query design, topic classification, sentiment analysis, share of voice, message pull-through, reach, engagement, amplification, audience quality, and competitive benchmarking.
• Experience applying descriptive and diagnostic analysis, trend/time-series analysis, benchmarking, correlation, regression, segmentation, statistical testing, and driver analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, Communications, PR, Social, Content, Media, Research, Digital, Customer, or Strategy.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, communication, data storytelling, stakeholder management, organization, judgment, and attention to detail.
