Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: NOIDA, UTTAR PRADESH, India; Hybrid

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Market Assessment – Conduct structured evaluations of data center, SMR, and renewable energy investments and project opportunities across regions through market intelligence gathering.

• Competitor Analysis – Benchmark adjacent competitors, monitor market positioning, and provide actionable insights to support business development efforts.

• Weekly Power Projects Newsletter – Curate and distribute updates on upcoming Greenfield projects in Data Centers, Nuclear/SMR, and Renewables to World Area Sales teams.

• Program KPI Support – Track, monitor, and report progress against key growth and program performance metrics.

Your decisions are grounded in a balanced mix of analysis, experience, judgment, and industry insight, and you consistently move beyond traditional approaches by encouraging diverse thinking and innovation. You stay current with the latest power industry trends and tools like proficiency in Power BI and other analytics tools to assess and technologies needed to understand evolving market requirements across the fast‑growing Power & Renewables sector, including datacenters, battery energy storage, nuclear SMRs, and other emerging segments—ensuring informed, forward‑looking decision‑making.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering / Marketing & Data Analysis.
• 5-8 plus years of experience in automation industry projects with at least 5 years in managerial capacity. Experience in Power, Renewables and Datacenter industry will be an added advantage
• Excellent Marketing and Data Analysis capability with focus on Customer handling, Solution positioning
• Should have prior experience working for Multiple EPCs, Developers understanding their requirements and working on meeting those requirements.
• Preparation of Optimum Solution with identification of Risks and Mitigation plan.
• Strong people management & interpersonal skills; matured personality
• Strong organization and planning skills

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience working in Power & Renewables BESS Industry/ Datacenters 
• Excellent communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English
• Good Knowledge of DCS / SCADA Automation concepts and Project Lifecycle.

The Global Greenfield Business Analyst is responsible for supporting Emerson’s Global Greenfield Growth Program by providing comprehensive market intelligence, technical analysis, and business planning for Renewable Power Generation and Data Center opportunities. The role requires strong knowledge of current Power and Renewables industry trends, along with proficiency in Power BI and other analytics tools to assess market needs and review customer RFQs for automation systems, including SCADA and Asset Performance Management. The candidate must be skilled in preparing high‑quality presentations, business plans, competitor analysis, technical compliance/deviation reports, vendor registration documents, and market pricing assessments, while ensuring alignment with customer technical expectations and submission timelines. The position also contributes to data analysis, weekly Power Industry newsletters, and solution architecture for renewable power plants and data centers.
