About the Role
 

We are seeking an innovative and passionate engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving at scale, values automation and efficiency, and views infrastructure as another aspect of software engineering. Responsibilities

  • Contributing to our Research Indicators Platform

  • Automating processes to assist other teams.

  • Collaborating on new ideas to optimize systems and engineering workflows.

  • Building relationships with other engineering teams to identify and solve their pain points.

  • Working across the stack, from development to infrastructure.



Requirements

  • To be proficient in writing production-ready code. We use AWS, but experience with GCP or Azure is also acceptable, especially if you are competent with Kubernetes.

  • Have experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

  • Have to view devops as a mindset, not a role. We operate under the motto “we write it, we run it” and are willing to engage in infrastructure work.

  • To be passionate about creating high-quality, testable code. We write and design our own tests, measure untested things, and fix any problems we find.

  • To be a team player who leaves your ego at the door. We value learning from each other and making decisions as a team.
