Ellucian is seeking a DevOps engineer within the Ellucian Analytics and Insights team who will get an opportunity to work on building and maintaining infrastructure using AWS services and CICD processes. Where you will make an impact You will participate in the development and testing of new solutions for the next generation of Higher Education Reporting and Analytics products as a member of a creative, agile development team building solutions that exceed customer expectations Actively participate in agile development ceremonies (daily stand ups, refinement, sprint reviews, planning, retrospectives) Collaborate with peers in debugging, streamlining, and troubleshooting issues Incorporate industry best practices and influence team standards to enhance maintainability and extensibility Engage in continuous learning and adoption of new concepts, technologies and functionality Collaborate with Business Analysts, UX Designers, Developers, and Architects to determine the optimum user interface design, workflow, and functionality What you will bring A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing continuous integration, continuous delivery DevOps solutions Hands on experience working with either AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform (preferred), Chef, Puppet Proficient in a scripting language like Unix shell scripting (preferred), Ruby, Python or Java Experience with automation and orchestration using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Git Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog (preferred), CloudWatch Deep understanding of cloud technologies such as virtualization, storage, and network domains in a cloud service model Experience working in an Agile Delivery environment Familiar with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes Knowledge on Zapp pipeline and processes is an added advantage Experience developing applications using React, Node.js or other modern JavaScript framework is an advantage Collaborates with the team to brainstorm technical challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passion for driving Continuous Improvement
