Whole Health & Health Equity Director

Office Location: Nashville, Memphis or Knoxville, TN.

Associates are required to live within a 50-mile radius and a 1-hour commute to the Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) location listed above. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection. This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days physically in office per week.

The Whole Health & Equity Director is responsible for the hybrid method of whole health initiatives and health equity programs within the health plans.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Directing the health plans efforts to improve the health and well-being of the health plans membership, while partnering to reduce health disparities through analytics and data resources.
• Evaluating payer practices to reduce health equity and social determinants.
• Establishing integrated whole health strategy for health plans.
• Partner with community  based organizations to provide necessary program development and evaluating outcomes.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree and 5 years of experience, preferably in public health, social/human services, social work, public policy, health care, education, community development, or justice; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences: Work experience creating health programs from start to finish. Population/Whole health experience highly preferred. Strong presentation and communication skills.
