About the role:
We are looking for a Technical Project Leader, Hardware to serve as Electronic Development Leader for floor care, air care and small domestic appliance products, with emphasis on battery-powered products. You will lead hardware, software, motor, battery and supplier delivery while remaining hands-on in design and debugging.
You will own robust, compliant electronic solutions from concept through post-launch support, prioritizing technical delivery while balancing quality, cost and schedule.
What you’ll do:
In detail, you will:
- Lead hardware, software, motor, battery and suppliers toward verified electronic delivery.
- Own architecture, requirements, interfaces and technical decisions throughout the lifecycle.
- Select components, create OrCAD schematics and guide critical mixed-signal multilayer PCB layout.
- Design and debug AC/DC, DC/DC, battery, ARM MCU, analog and sensor circuits.
- Define DVT and reliability tests, analyze data and close failures.
- Prevent and resolve EMC/EMI issues through sound circuit and PCB design.
- Embed electrical safety, insulation and regulatory requirements from the outset.
- Lead hardware DFMEA and convert risks into design controls and verification.
- Drive supplier reviews, NPI, factory resolution, post-launch improvement and value engineering.
- Collaborate daily with global teams, with occasional project travel.
Who you are / Your qualifications:
- A hands-on technical leader - You set direction and engage in reviews, measurements and debugging.
- Collaborative and influential - You align cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Curious and analytical - You identify root causes and turn evidence into robust improvements.
- Accountable and result driven - You balance technical delivery, quality, cost, schedule and supply risk.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems or similar.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and fluent written and spoken English.
Core Competencies:
- Embedded hardware architecture for battery-powered and AC-powered appliances.
- Strong AC/DC and DC/DC design; battery system experience is important.
- Analog, sensor front-end, protection and measurement circuit design.
- ARM MCU system design and board-level debugging.
- Advanced OrCAD schematic and mixed-signal multilayer PCB layout skills.
- EMC/EMI prevention and correction; appliance safety, insulation and IEC/UL knowledge.
- Component selection balancing performance, quality, cost, lifecycle and supply.
- DVT, reliability, laboratory measurement and failure analysis.
- Multidisciplinary leadership from concept through NPI and production.
- Hardware DFMEA, value engineering, traceability and risk management.
- Classified as Internal
- Motor-drive and LTspice experience are advantageous; communication skills are essential.
