All about the role:

We are now looking for a Supplier Lab accreditation Sr Engineer who wants to grow and develop both the role, our organization and yourself.

What you’ll do:

• Create an effective process to extend the use of Suppliers’ resources to perform testing activities according to our Component Supply Specification (CSS) and Test Manuals (TM) with a Certified process testing which will avoid repeating all of them at Electrolux labs (called Supplier Lab Accreditation).

• Increase Electrolux capability to fast execute actions and accelerate time to market and overall strategy development (New projects, supplier base re-shape, dual sourcing and geographical risk mitigations, reallocations, cost out etc.).

• Improve the supplier competence to test according to Electrolux needs with better understanding and alignment on requirements, resulting in higher Quality performances; it links the increased alignment/awareness/knowledge with the processes and quality controls.

• Creates a stronger relationship with supplier(s) which can constitute the premise to a “Preferred customer choice” for development and access to innovation.

• Main technical principals of Lab accreditation (internal and external)

• Responsibilities are defined in “EL3301 Supplier Laboratory Evaluation & Accreditation”.

• In according to Rasic Matrix :

• -Plan and manage “Supplier lab self-evaluation”

• -Plan and coordinate “Supplier Lab Audit Assessment “

• - Drive tech analysis on “Test result Comparison”

• - Drive and manage all the Audit documentation, including follow up.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronic engineering

• 3- 5 Years experience

• Ability to working in a matrix organization                 

• Team Player                     

• Availability to business trips.

• Fluent English (including writing and speaking)

Key functional qualifications

• Deep Product and approval process knowledge

• Strong knowledge in electrical components and testing methods

• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, data acquisitions system, testing procedures and evaluations of results

• Communications skills to manage suppliers and interact with all company areas

• The following skills are considered as a plus:

• Knowledge of 6-Sigma, Design of Experiments (DOE)

• Experience in testing home appliances

• Familiar on ISO/IEC 17025 – Testing and Calibration Laboratories

  • ISO 9001:2015 – Chapter 0.3.2 Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle

  • AIAG Measurement System Analysis Reference Manual 4th Edition.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based at the Hangzhou Plant in China, No. 18 Street, Qiantang District. It will be necessary to be available for national and international traveling.
