All about the role:
Works autonomously, following established procedures and guidelines to contribute to improvement. Solves a range of straightforward to complex problems. Implements local action plans (such as Direct Material efficiency, Low-Cost Country, and Service Call Rate improvement action plans). Supports ramp-up of projects. Interacts with cross-functional teams, shares knowledge.
What you’ll do:
- Lead Cost Reduction (CR) Team from idea initiation until projects implementation and collaboration with related team to deliver cost saving in order to meet the company goal
- Lead and follow up all VE & CR projects activities
- Summarize CR KPI and report by monthly (ECI-OPI, M5, STAR Product)
- Lead CR weekly meeting and Stand meeting
- Project assignment and balance workload in team
- Counteraction for issues of VE & CR projects
- Generate recovery/backup projects and plan activity for next year
- CR team budget planning and control
- Improve working process for higher working efficiency
- Make development plan for CR team members
- Support activities of PC team
Who You Are:
- Bachelor in Engineering
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Part/Product Development, Cost Reduction and Quality improvement in the R&D department of home appliances industry.
