Senior Coil Engineer

All About The Role
Responsible to design, develop, test and maintain coils for induction cooking appliances
What You’ll Do
Create and support design of reliable induction coil solutions in compliance with internal development guidelines
Translate functional requirements to parameters for the induction coil design
Creation of BOM of coils
Create samples of coils and appliances
Ensure compliance with internal and external Safety (IEC 60335, UL60730, …) and EMC standards
Identify and validate alternative components according to internal strategy and guidelines
Definition and execution of test plan: temperature, heat distribution, impedance measurements
Observe relevant markets, new technologies and tools for coils development
Analyze quality data coming from the market, identify root cause of quality issues, organize and execute quality improvement plans related to coils.
Qualification:
Knowledge of magnetic properties of material
Design of transformers
Ability in building handmade prototypes of coils
Knowledge of lab instruments: oscilloscope, multimeter, datalogger.
Magnetic field simulations.
Team spirit and communication skills, share information with group
Precision in project targets achievement (time, cost, quality)
Location:
You will be based at the Hangzhou Plant.
