Join the most exposed team within the R&D organization.

We are looking for a Product Care Project Leader, a strong team player who will ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products in terms of quality, cost optimization, and technical support to the factory on short-term product-related challenges.

Be the focal point of contact for all the functions within the factory and beyond. Drive Product Care projects across EMEA and Globally. Constantly improve our products for better consumer satisfaction and manufacturing excellence.

What you’ll do:

  • Investigate and implement projects to improve the quality of the manufactured products, maximize the customer experience, and to reduce the Service Call Rate and the warranty costs

  • Investigate and implement projects to reduce product costs, maintaining the requested level of quality

  • Provide Industrial Operations with technical support and design changes to guarantee production continuity

  • Assist the factory in the rework reduction and the obsolete parts reuse

  • Lead Engineering Changes projects, from the project definition to the approval of the solutions for the mass production and beyond, including fitting into the platform and subsystem structure and defining inputs for Bill of Material (BoM) and other related documentation

  • Support to improve manufacturability and productivity, contributing to upgrade component and product specifications

  • Prepare and manage the project progress tracking, timing plans, risk assessments and the reporting of project status

  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify risks that might affect the project, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements

  • Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes

  • Organize tests and pilot series with the Production

  • Report in Check Point meetings/Steering Team when needed

  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement in own competence area.

Where you’ll be:

Our modern factory in Świdnica manufactures various models of free-standing cookers and built-in ovens of such brands as Electrolux, AEG, and Zanussi. We put special emphasis on safety, quality and sustainability. We employ around 850 people, both in operations and factory office.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electric/Electronic Engineering or equivalent education background.

  • Strong knowledge of product design principles and technical drawing.

  • Knowledge of 3D, 2D design tools (CATIA is preferred).

  • Project Management skills. Experience as a project leader in mechanical environments.

  • Familiar with PMI (Project Management Institute) terminology and basic tools. Structured engineering approach during each development phase.

  • Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA ́s, etc);

  • Basic knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and assembly principles.

  • Fluent in English 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
