All about the role:

Responsible for the design & development of existing mechanical and/or electronic product components and creation & validation of new components.  Tasks are of low complexity and in support of more senior colleagues.  Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.  Receives instructions, guidance, and direction from others.

What you’ll do:

• To drive activities to launch new models and improve the product cost, performance, and manufacturability of new refrigerators. 
• To deliver solutions to the products that are aligned with the global strategy
• Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products in terms of cost reduction and quality improvement.
• Provide technical support to the factory on short-term product-related opportunities. 
• Deliver projects that meets schedule, performance, and costs targets of the Electrolux refrigerators.

Core Competencies

Education

• Bachelor ’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or extensive practical experience

Experience

• 0-3 years of relevant experience in R&D or Product development
• Experience in design of components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes in the cooling system branch.

Knowledge

Products Knowledge

• Design & development of cooling & airflow parts, and design standard of each part.
• Cooling & airflow specifications & Application
• Testing Procedures, Safety Standards, international standards e.g., UL, IEC etc. and each region or country requirement standards for appliance
• Fluid dynamics, Heat transfer

You will be based in our Rayong manufacturing plant in Thailand.
