We’re growing and looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of around five software engineers and report to a Group Engineering Manager.

This is a people-leadership role. Youʼll be responsible for the people management, delivery, and the quality of our Engineering. Youʼll work closely with Product, UX, QA, Architecture, and other Engineering Managers to turn priorities into realistic plans and help engineers do their best work.

👉POSITION BREAKDOWN

• Lead and develop a team of engineers through regular 1on1s, feedback, goal setting, and career planning.

• Youʼll still stay close to the technology, spending at least 20% of your time doing hands-on tasks: reviewing development plans and pull requests, contributing code, and helping the team make sound technical decisions.

• Build a culture of ownership, open communication, and accountability.

• Plan and manage the teamʼs work with Product, balancing roadmap delivery, reliability, technical debt, and development activities.

• Run the teamʼs day-to-day processes and keep priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies clear.

• Make sure delivery risks and delays are communicated early.

• Maintain high engineering standards for testing, code review, technical decisions, and production readiness.

• Ensure the team operates what it builds and has sustainable on-call coverage.

• Work with other teams to resolve dependencies and shared challenges.

👉 WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

• A strong software engineering background and technical credibility with experienced engineers.

• Experience managing engineers, or strong Tech Lead experience with clear people-leadership responsibilities.

• Strong coaching, feedback, and performance-management skills.

• Good judgment on scope, estimates, priorities, and trade-offs.

• Experience leading delivery while keeping risks and dependencies visible.

• A practical approach to improving quality, reliability, and team effectiveness.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well across Product, UX, QA, and Engineering.

• A proactive, direct, and ownership-focused leadership style.

• Fluency in Lithuanian and English.

• Bonus points: Experience with .NET, Angular.

👉 GROSS SALARY

The salary range for this position is 6500-9000 Eur gross per month, depending on your experience.
