Internship / Master Thesis : PromptFlow No-Code AI Orchestration

Description
Enterprise back-office teams - insurance claims, compliance, credit - are experts in their own processes, yet completely locked out of the AI behavior they depend on. Three structural tensions make this hard to fix.
First, under-exploited business expertise: Back-office managers have a perfect command of their cases but cannot express this knowledge in the form of prompt sequences. Knowledge remains tacit, non-formalized, non-reusable.
Second, opaque technical complexity: Existing tools (LangChain, n8n, LangGraph) require programming or LLM architecture skills, creating a systematic dependency on IT and Data teams.
Third, Adaptive cases underserved: BPMN-based orchestration is too rigid for case management - AI agents must adapt dynamically to the context of each case, not follow a predetermined sequence of steps.

- No tools suitable for visual prompt engineering

Systematic dependence on IT/Data teams
PromptFlow is ELCA's answer to this gap - a new way to democratize AI in the enterprise. We are looking for an intern ready to be part of this attempt at revolution.
Objectives
Design and build an end-to-end demonstrator on a realistic scenario (e.g. automotive insurance claim, SME loan application, or building permit review) in 3 phases:
Phase 1 (months 1-2) - YAML schema for prompt templates + execution engine with Temporal.io / LiteLLM
Phase 2 (months 3-4) - React Flow visual editors and block editor with real-time prompt preview
Phase 3 (months 5-6) - Operator dashboard + CI/CD on OpenShift, Config-as-Code
Required skills
Python ninja - async, Pydantic, REST API design, APIs consumption
React / TypeScript - good understanding of this framework
Docker / Kubernetes - comfortable with the principle of Containers/Pods
Software architecture mindset - you reason about design, not just features
Nice to have:
LLM APIs, prompt engineering, CMMN / BPMN 2.0, React Flow, Temporal.io, PostgreSQL
