About the role
As a Senior Cloud Native Engineer at Elastisys, you will be a key player in our customer projects. You will deliver high-quality cloud native solutions, often taking the role of technical lead in engagements. The role is a mix of hands-on work with complex environments and mentoring of junior engineers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, designing, and implementing solutions in complex environments.
- Advising and delivering best practice implementations based on customer needs.
- Driving knowledge sharing internally and contributing to the open source community.
- Supporting the team through mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers.
- Taking on lead roles such as Tech Lead or Scrum Master when needed.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in cloud native technologies who thrives in roles combining technical expertise with leadership. You are collaborative, communicative, and motivated by both delivering on a high level and helping others grow.
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
- A university degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience within the cloud native field.
- Deep knowledge of containers, orchestration, and modern infrastructure.
- Strong ability to plan and drive projects from idea to implementation.
- An interest in contributing to open source and growing the community.
