About the role

As a Senior Cloud Native Engineer at Elastisys, you'll play a central role in customer projects, delivering high-quality cloud native solutions, driving technical direction, and mentoring engineers who are earlier in their journey. It's a role that blends deep hands-on work with real influence.

You'll be doing things like:

• Planning, designing, and implementing solutions in complex cloud native environments
• Advising customers and delivering best practice implementations based on their actual needs
• Taking on technical lead roles when projects call for it
• Contributing to knowledge sharing internally and to the open source community
• Supporting and mentoring less experienced engineers — because how we grow together matters as much as what we deliver

Who are you?

You have solid experience in cloud native technologies and feel comfortable in roles that combine technical depth with leadership. You like to collaborate, communicate clearly, and care about both the quality of your work and the people around you.

You likely bring:

• Several years of hands-on experience within cloud native, however you got there
• Deep knowledge of containers, orchestration, and modern infrastructure
• The ability to plan and drive projects from idea to implementation
• An interest in open source and contributing to a broader community

A formal degree in computer science or similar is one way to have built this, but it's your competence and curiosity that count.
