Your Role: Software Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the platform to enhance our IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM) and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) capabilities and streamline business processes. This role requires a strong understanding of best practices, a passion for problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

You will be joining TechOps, who are responsible for all IT Infrastructure, Client Services, and Global & Site Operations across the enterprise. We leverage modern technologies to build for the future and empower Elanco employees to build amazing things.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, configure, and customize applications and modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, and custom applications.

• Implement and maintain integrations between and other enterprise systems using various integration methods (e.g., REST, SOAP, MID Server).

• Create and manage forms, workflows, reports, dashboards, and service portals to meet business requirements.

• Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of solutions.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide estimates for development efforts.

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Stay current with platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions and configurations.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in IT Service Management including Development

• Strong understanding of ITIL principles

• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build consensus.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): 

• Experience implementing AI-powered support solutions.

• ITIL v4 Foundation certification or higher.
