About Eka.care

Eka.care is India's leading AI-powered healthcare platform, headquartered in Bengaluru. We build technology that powers clinics, hospitals, and patients — through products like Eka EMR, Eka Scribe, Eka PHR, and the Eka Developer Portal. Our infrastructure serves millions of healthcare interactions daily, and our engineering teams are at the core of keeping those systems reliable, scalable, and secure.

Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated DevOps Engineer with 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience to join our Infrastructure & Platform Engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and container orchestration platforms. You will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and management across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Manage containerisation technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for scalable, production-grade application deployments.
  • Configure and maintain monitoring and observability stacks using tools such as NewRelic, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure system health and performance.
  • Perform API load testing using k6, JMeter, or Postman to validate service reliability and throughput.
  • Manage IAM permissions and enforce robust security configurations across cloud resources.
  • Oversee cloud networking including DNS, VPN configurations, and related network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams on seamless service integration and delivery, including API interactions with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and custom-hosted models.
  • Provide operational support for relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Work with data streaming and analytics platforms such as Kafka, Apache Superset, and Amazon Redshift to support data-driven applications.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1 to 4 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
  • Proficiency with Linux operating systems and scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic, or similar.
  • Familiarity with API load testing using k6, JMeter, or Postman.
  • Understanding of cloud networking fundamentals including DNS, VPN, firewalls, and security groups.
  • Experience with IAM configurations and cloud security best practices.
Preferred / Good to Have
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing workloads on Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Familiarity with data management platforms such as Kafka, Superset, or Redshift.
  • Experience integrating or operating APIs for LLM models (OpenAI, Bedrock, or custom-hosted models).
  • Exposure to database administration for MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Full-Time Employee Benefits
  • Medical Insurance & Accidental Insurance
  • Maternity & Paternity Benefits
  • PF, Gratuity, & Leave Encashment
