Job Location: Santa Clara, CA

As a Senior Staff Frontend (UI) Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in front-end development, a strong understanding of web application development, and experience working in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop robust, scalable, and configurable applications and modules with an emphasis on quality, performance, design, and re-usability.
  • Develop and maintain web applications using React and other modern frontend technologies
  • Build and ship new software features and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Design, and the rest of Engineering to re-iterate and enhance our product and to create user-friendly interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development
  • Prototype new ideas and iterate toward the ideal user experience
  • Participate in technical discussions and plans to improve our overall software quality 
  • Handle enterprise customer escalation issues promptly and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Computer Science is preferred
  • 9+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development. Backend and/or Frontend.
  • Experience in building, launching, and maintaining cloud SaaS products.
  • Strong passion for beautiful user interfaces. Cares about the details in the User experience and is highly driven to solve real problems for millions of Users
  • Experience with React framework and other modern frontend technologies
  • Comfortable in latest FE technologies like hooks, modern CSS, Typescript 
  • Can demonstrate superb coding and design skills for user-friendly frontend interfaces
  • Can demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively across teams
  • Strong leadership and mentorship experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills and debugging in cloud environments and/or SaaS products.
  • As much experience in knowledge/experience  of relevant technologies to our tech stack (see below)
  • Our Tech Stack:
  • Python, Flask, SQL, Bash
  • React, Redux, JavaScript, Typescript, Webpack, NextJS, JSON
  • Apache Spark, Solr, Mysql, Docker
  • Major AWS services like Aurora, S3, Redshift, Cloudformation, SNS, SQS etc
  • Extensive use of AI and machine learning technologies

Pay Transparency
Please note this role is categorized as hybrid in Santa Clara, CA The base salary ranges below are provided for pay transparency. Base pay is only one piece of our total compensation package as this role may be eligible for bonus and equity awards. Compensation varies depending on a number of factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and zone which is determined by location. 
Zone A is in SF Bay Area, CA . Base annual salary range: $187,000 to 219,000 + discretionary bonus up to 20% + preIPO equity.
