We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Project Manager - Localisation. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing our vendor relationships, managing multiple translation projects, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our localisation efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management:
- Conduct weekly meetings with translation vendors to discuss deliverables and address concerns.
- Manage vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
- Identify and communicate errors in translated files for timely correction.
- Project Management:
- Manage new translation projects using Lilt, including assigning tasks, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines.
- Oversee four ongoing projects: platform UI translation maintenance, multilingual skills translations, engineering stream for i18n tagging, and rollout of new language support, continuous quality improvement
- Prioritize tasks/issues, manage resources, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Translation Tasks:
- Validate user interface (UI) elements.
- Manage various types of skills translations.
- Handle resume parsing annotations.
- Provide context for UI strings when needed.
- Ensure successfully global roll out of the platform in different languages for customers
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal teams (engineering, product, etc.) and external vendors.
- Clearly document project progress and updates.
- Respond promptly to questions and requests for information.
Qualification:
- 4+ years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Experience working with translation vendors and managing translation projects.
- Excellent understanding of the localization process and best practices.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using project management tools and Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred skills:
- Experience with resume parsing tools.
- Knowledge of various programming languages for i18n tagging.
- Previous experience in the technology industry.
- Experience with translation management software/tools.
