3. Own our actions: We own our success and failures, act with honesty, and uphold trust
4. Innovate with intent: We challenge the status quo and turn ideas into action

Join us in strengthening Saskatchewan’s health system through meaningful, people-centered digital innovation.

The Opportunity

As Director, Data & Analytics, you will shape how data is leveraged across Saskatchewan's provincial health system, influencing decisions that impact patient care, system performance, and long-term health outcomes for more than a million residents. We're looking for a leader who is passionate about data and curious by nature. Someone who sees patterns where others see complexity, asks better questions, and understands how data can drive meaningful change. You'll bring a vision for the future of analytics, inspire others around that vision, and lead the work required to make it a reality.

As the leader of eHealth Saskatchewan's Data & Analytics function, you will set the strategic direction for enterprise data, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities across the health system. You'll guide the modernization of data platforms, governance, and reporting capabilities while fostering a culture where trusted insights drive decisions at every level.

If you're energized by solving complex problems, building high-performing teams, influencing system-wide change, and creating lasting impact through data, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of health care in Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Executive Director, Enterprise Business Services, you will:

  • Define the future of data and analytics across Saskatchewan's provincial health system, setting a vision that supports better decision-making and improved health outcomes.

  • Shape enterprise strategy by transforming data into meaningful insights that inform policy, planning, and operational priorities.

  • Influence system-wide change through partnerships with senior leaders, government, and stakeholders across the health sector.

  • Lead the modernization of analytics capabilities, including data platforms, governance, and business intelligence tools that support a connected and data-driven health system.

  • Champion a culture of data-informed decision-making, helping teams move from information to insight and from insight to action.

  • Build and inspire a high-performing team, creating an environment where innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning thrive.

  • Drive innovation and anticipate emerging trends, positioning eHealth Saskatchewan as a leader in data, analytics, and digital health intelligence.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a forward-thinking leader who is passionate about data, analytics, and the impact they can have on the health system. You bring the ability to craft a clear vision, influence at all levels of an organization, and translate strategy into action. You combine curiosity with pragmatism, seeing both what's possible and what it will take to get there. You are energized by leading people, driving transformation, and creating lasting value through data-driven decision-making.

What you'll bring to the Team

  • A degree in health informatics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.

  • Several years of progressive leadership experience in analytics, IT, or health care. Adequate combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Experience leading business operations, including budgeting, workforce planning and staff management, and service delivery.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align technology investments and initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, organizations, and stakeholder groups.

  • Expertise in enterprise data strategy, integration, and governance.

  • Experience with modern analytics platforms, data warehousing, and visualization tools.
