Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative **Engineer - Electrical** to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you'll take ownership of electrical system design and implementation for building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant electrical solutions.   • Design and develop power distribution layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and comprehensive electrical calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and fault level studies
  • Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations that meet project requirements and adhere to safety standards
  • Support procurement activities by preparing technical datasheets, material requisitions, and conducting vendor reviews to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and architectural professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installation work to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (IEC/IEEE), local electrical codes, and safety regulations
  • Provide technical support for site queries and actively participate in commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts to support timely and cost-effective project completion
  • Analyze and troubleshoot electrical system challenges, providing innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering for building or infrastructure projects
  • Strong proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or equivalent power system analysis and design platforms
  • Solid knowledge of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE) and their practical application in design
  • Demonstrated expertise in power distribution systems, lighting design, and emergency electrical systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
  • Familiarity with site supervision and commissioning processes
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance requirements
  • Project management fundamentals and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Preferred: Experience with power system studies, substation design, or industrial electrical systems
  • Preferred: Certification in electrical safety or relevant professional credentials
