What you’ll do:

• As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for managing all transformer test activities within the laboratory, ensuring product conformity to test protocols, leading continuous improvement initiatives and test stuff. Preparing test reports and executing test plans according to the production plan. This role is critical in maintaining Eaton’s high standards of quality and reliability.
• Lead and manage all test laboratory operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of transformer testing activities in compliance with EHS requirements and company policies. 
• Provide technical and operational leadership to achieve laboratory and plant objectives related to safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. 
• Develop, maintain, and check test plans in accordance with customer specifications and international standards. 
• Analyze test results, identify deviations and root causes, and provide feedback to the related departments. 
• Lead the continuous improvement of laboratory capabilities, including test equipment selection, specification definition, validation, and procurement activities. 
• Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements by supporting laboratory audits, maintaining documentation, managing non-conformities, implementing corrective actions, and participating in audits. 
• Manage laboratory asset and equipment lifecycle processes, including calibration planning, maintenance coordination, and traceability of measuring and testing devices. 
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to ensure testing activities support business and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electric -Electronic Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transformer testing or related test activities. 
  
  

Skills:

• Familiarity with testing equipment: Megger, Omicron, Doble etc. 
• Strong planning, reporting, and analytical skills. 
• Expertise in electrical testing, analyzers, oscilloscopes or testing devices 
• In-depth knowledge of : IEC 60076 standards for transformer testing 
• ISO 17025 accreditation and calibration processes 
• Measurement uncertainty calculation methods 
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong team and project management capabilities. 
• Proficiency in English and Turkish (written and spoken).
