Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is an on-site position based at our El Paso, TX facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Power Distribution Control Assembly (PDCA) division in El Paso is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a successful team that continuous to grow.
You will coordinate and manage manufacturing engineering activities in production areas to support existing and new production lines. You will establish efficient manufacturing processes and define the equipment needed. You will utilize Lean Manufacturing concepts, support Safety and Quality Systems and promote Continuous Improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define effective and efficient manufacturing processes based on Lean Manufacturing concepts.
- Create Operating Methods Sheets related to the manufacturing process and assists in training.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing equipment and tooling and provides inputs to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
- Procure, implement, and validate new equipment and tooling per project plans and Eaton standards.
- Manage capital projects.
- Transfer products and assembly lines as required.
- Participate in problem solving using structured and systemic methodologies.
- Lead PFMEA sessions.
- Calculate capacity reports for planning purpose.
- Maintain routings in the system and evaluate efficiencies.
- Investigate and initiate cost reduction programs.
- Implement, promote, and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules.
- Promote the company’s mission and vision by actively supporting Eaton’s ethics and values as well as quality policies.
- Provide production support.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Experience leading large CAPEX projects or new product development projects
Skills:
- Analytical and critical thinking skills – necessary for identification of issues and potential troubleshooting
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge on Lean tools
- Knowledge and application of problem-solving tools and methodologies
- Bilingual English / Spanish highly preferred, but not required
