Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.31 - $25.96 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Co-Op Program at our Jackson, MI Aerospace Group Manufacturing Plant is for students pursuing a degree in engineering.
The objective of this program is to develop your technical skills in engineering through a practical experience and assist in your personal development of leadership competencies through training, networking and coaching. During the program you will provide engineering services to support the operations of our dynamic and exciting Aerospace business through an assignment in Sustaining Manufacturing Engineering.
A brief description of the assignment is as follows:
Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for manufacturing processes including equipment specification, tooling design, gauging, quality and efficiency. Specific duties as an ME Intern may include assisting Manufacturing Engineers with implementing process improvements aimed to advance safety, product quality (reduce scrap), customer delivery and/or cost reductions. Additional responsibilities may support preparing for customer audits, preparing Compliance Matrices (i.e. Specification Readiness Reviews (SRRs)), supporting i4.0 initiatives, completing time studies and/or updating tool drawings.
All assignments may have additional responsibilities as assigned.
Our internship program will provide you with great exposure to Eaton Aerospace Group operations and would prepare you for a potential opportunity to join an engineering or operations role within Eaton upon graduation.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in engineering at an accredited institution
- Must have a combined GPA of 2.5 or higher (please do not round)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship on a continual permanent basis
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
