B-Line Product Manager

What you’ll do:

  • Support B-Line product line growth in China/APAC by driving product management execution, supporting sales, and contributing to portfolio development. Focus on cable management, support systems, and seismic bracing solutions across industrial markets.
  • Product Line Management & Strategy Execution (Core Focus)
  • Support the development and execution of product line strategy, including contribution to MGPP (Multi-Generation Product Plan) and long-term portfolio roadmap.
  • Drive day-to-day product line management, including portfolio structuring, product positioning, and lifecycle optimization (launch, phase-out, rationalization).
  • Continuously optimize product offering based on market needs, ensuring competitiveness in specification, cost, and value proposition.
  • Own and track product line financial performance, including revenue, margin, and profitability, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support pricing strategy development and execution, ensuring alignment with market positioning and profitability targets.
  • Commercial Enablement & Business Performance Tracking (Solution-Oriented)
  • Partner closely with sales and application engineering teams to support project pursuits from a commercial and solution perspective, rather than purely technical design.
  • Shape competitive offerings by optimizing product selection, pricing strategy, and bundling approach to maximize win rates and margin.
  • Conduct regular tracking and analysis of product line performance, including sales trends, margin evolution, sales forecasting and portfolio contribution.
  • Monitor competitive movements and market dynamics, and proactively recommend actions.
  • Market Intelligence & Playbook Development
  • Lead systematic market and customer insight gathering, including Voice of Customer (VOC), competitive benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
  • Support on develop and continuously refine product and market playbooks,translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product development, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Cross-functional Coordination & Project Executiont
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of product-related initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional alignment for major projects, ensuring delivery commitments, product readiness, and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to NPI, VAVE, and cost-out initiatives through strong coordination and follow-up.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field; MBA is preferred.
    3-5 years experience in product management, business development, application engineering, or technical/commercial roles. Preferably in mechanical or industrial solutions. in industrial sectors
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in cable tray, struct channel and similar mechnical product.
  • Experience in multi-country or regional product ownership.
  • Exposure to data center, renewables, infrastructure, or other high-growth industrial verticals
  • PMP or equivalent project/program management certification preferred.Demonstrates a strong understanding of product application, with the ability to quickly learn and master complex product systems
  • Possesses solid knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and certifications, with the capability to interpret, apply, and independently derive product requirements for different applications
  • Exhibits strong application-oriented thinking, with the ability to identify product opportunities and adapt solutions to new industries or emerging market segments"
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, learning competance and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English both oral and writing.
