Job Brief
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Frontend Developer to build high-quality, scalable, and performance-driven websites for our clients.
You will be responsible for developing WordPress themes, handling integrations, and ensuring optimal performance. You will also leverage AI tools to improve development speed, debugging, and code quality.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement new features and functionalities
Build and maintain WordPress themes and frontend architecture
Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness
Convert wireframes and designs into responsive WordPress pages
Optimize websites for speed and performance
Collaborate with backend developers for integrations and issue resolution
Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) for coding, debugging, and efficiency
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and consistent UI/UX
Required Skills (Must-Have)
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Solid hands-on experience in WordPress development (themes, plugins, customization)
Strong experience in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Ability to convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into working WordPress pages
Experience with REST APIs (JSON, XML)
Strong knowledge of Bootstrap, CSS Grid, Flexbox
Experience with SASS/LESS
Proficiency in Git (version control)
Strong debugging skills using Chrome DevTools or similar tools
Good understanding of PHP and WordPress backend structure
Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and third-party integrations
Experience with WordPress multisite and multilingual websites
Familiarity with popular themes (Astra, Avada, Divi, GeneratePress, etc.)
Experience optimizing website performance and page speed
Practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
Experience in agency or client-facing environments
Basic understanding of technical SEO or accessibility standards
