R&D Device and Test Engineer

DustPhotonics is a global innovator in Silicon Photonics, delivering advanced connectivity solutions for next-generation data centre technologies.
We are looking for a talented Device and Test Engineer to join our Shenzhen operations and play a critical role at our Contract Manufacturer (CM) site.
This position offers a unique combination of advanced technology, hands-on engineering and direct collaboration with international R&D teams.

Requirements
- 8+ years in Test Engineering / Device & Test / Lab roles
- Hands-on electrical and/or optical measurements
- Strong analytical & data interpretation skills
- Python / LabVIEW – advantage
- Solid understanding of test methodologies & device physics
- Semiconductor assembly – advantage
- Photonics testing – strong advantage
- Fluent English – mandatory
- Strong ownership & hands-on mindset
Responsibilities
- Own product sort and testing execution at CM
- Lead daily test operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time
- Support failure analysis and root cause investigations
- Monitor yield, quality, and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support introduction of new test solutions
- Act as key technical interface with DustPhotonics R&D
- Provide structured technical updates
