We are seeking a skilled SSO Engineer with experience in C# and Auth0 to join our team. As an SSO Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions,
ensuring seamless and secure authentication across a variety of applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with C# programming and integrating third-party identity management
systems, specifically Auth0, for authentication.
What we expect from you:
• Design and Implementation of SSO Solutions:
o Architect, design, and implement Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Auth0 as the identity provider.
o Integrate Auth0 authentication into web applications and APIs (both .NET and other platforms).
o Customize authentication flows, ensuring they meet the security and usability requirements of the organization.
• Authentication & Authorization Management:
o Work with various teams to integrate SSO solutions across a wide range of applications (internal and external).
o Implement user roles, permissions, and claims-based authentication using C#.
o Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security and data privacy.
• API Gateway Implementation & Management:
o Implement and manage API Gateways to ensure centralized authentication, authorization, and security policies across microservices and APIs.
o Configure API Gateway solutions (such as Kong, or Azure API Management) to route traffic securely and efficiently.
o Integrate Auth0 with API Gateways to handle token-based authentication (JWT, OAuth2) for API requests and responses.
o Ensure proper implementation of rate limiting, caching, logging, and monitoring within the API Gateway.
• Maintain & Support Authentication Systems:
o Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve authentication issues and access control problems.
o Provide ongoing support for Auth0 configurations and integrations.
o Continuously review and improve SSO security policies and frameworks.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
o Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and authentication practices.
o Document architecture, configurations, and workflows for internal teams.
o Provide technical guidance and training to team members on best practices for authentication and identity management.
• Security & Compliance:
o Implement and maintain best practices for secure authentication, including twofactor authentication (2FA), OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other identity protocols.
o Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (such as GDPR, SOC2, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications:
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in C# and .NET technologies (ASP.NET Core, Web API).
o Strong experience with Auth0 as an identity provider, including user management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and social login integrations.
o Expertise in identity and access management (IAM) protocols such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML.
o Experience with RESTful API integrations and web-based applications.
o Familiarity with JWT (JSON Web Tokens), claims-based authentication, and securing API endpoints.
• Experience:
o 6+ years of experience as an SSO Engineer, Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer, or related role.
o Proven experience integrating Auth0 with C#-based applications and frameworks.
o Solid understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, and other related security protocols.
o Experience with cloud services such as Azure or GCP is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
o Experience with Azure Active Directory or other identity providers is a plus.
o Familiarity with CI/CD processes and deployment of identity-related applications.
o Experience with Agile development methodologies.
