Software Engineer II (R-16454)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software using Python and associated technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using tools like pandas and other data processing libraries.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to software development best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
• Work closely with product managers to understand customer needs and requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for software projects.
• Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Create detailed designs and POCs to enable new workloads and technical capabilities on the Platform.

KEY Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT industry involving in analytical programming software development and design skills to build multi-tier, web/API based applications using Python & backend technologies
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in development XML/JSON, REST APIs using python and related framework
• Strong programming skills with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and algorithms.
• Experience with cloud-based platforms such as AWS/GCP. Experience with Pytest and other testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and related tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Expertise in Object Oriented concepts like creating classes, inheritance, encapsulation, overriding & overloading
