We are now recruiting for the Tech Lead for team Nasty Hamsters (4 Developers) in our Development Unit, a common component for the company which provides authentication and supporting services in Sweden. Team Nasty Hamsters is responsible of the common login solution. The team mainly work with backend development and also have some front-end applications as well.

As a Tech Lead, you work with development together with the team and in addition to that motivate team members and give them feedback. You will help the team make decisions, as well as guide them in technical difficulties. The Tech Lead is responsible for decisions regarding choices of technique, architecture and design and to make sure it is in line with the overall directives. The Tech Lead also initiates and represent the team in discussions with other parts of the company as well as externally and ensures that the team is aligned with the development and agile process.
The Tech lead will also discuss requirements with customers and help them understand the common component and products.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Front end, back end designing and coding. Architecting the service and system with the help of architecture team. Maintain and enhance the product common login. Design new supporting service for common login - a collection of vendor solutions and custom application code that provides automated user registration, provisioning, authentication, access governance which requires special skills to underline architecture and login mechanism like oauth2 access token, refresh token and different authentication flow like code, implicit flow.

  • Lead the Dev team in its daily work, including stand-ups and demos. Decide on techniques, architecture and design to be used and ensure that it is aligned with the overall IT directives. Addition to this lead should also develop and maintain RESTful APIs web services and front end application to enable seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems and various services.

  • Communicate, educate, and enforce best practices and standards based on our guidelines. Responsible for sync between product teams. Represents the development team in dialogs with representatives of other functions. Create detailed design documentation

Education/Experience and Competencies

  • Experienced full stack java developer with experience from working in microservices environment with continuous deployment and with IMS (identity management system) technologies. Extensive experience from working with some of our technical tools including Java, Spring, Microservices/Spring boot REST APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, AWS and Kubernetes. Preferably also some experience from Spring Boot, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ and Angular. Must have Working experience in Oauth2, access token, code and implicit flow, user management, SSO (single sign on). Knowledge in one of the cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment. Experience in Maven, Gradle, Git, Bamboo,Bitbucket and Databases: MySQL, No SQL(Cassandra), PostgreSQL • Other Tools: Kibana, Grafana, Logstash, ELK, Kubernetes.
  • Good to have: Frontend technology: working experience like angular, html, css, typescript, javascript, node, Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Rest Assured, Cucumber, WireMock, jasmine
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, deploying and operating large-scale stream processing workflows.
  • Experience from working with IMS(Identity management system) and with deep knowledge of its architecture and functionality.
  • Experience from working with Oauth2, microservices and with good understanding of databases.
  • Extensive experience and fluency in working with NoSQL and columnar data stores.
  • Experience from working with the Target Runtime environment and related technologies.
  • Good understanding of modern machine learning technologies and familiarity with Python and frontend language like angular.
  • Previous experience from working in a similar role.
  • An academic degree in one of the following areas Engineering/Computer science/Information systems.
  • Problem-solver with a positive attitude and experience of managing and working with stakeholders. 
  • Team player, responsible and structured.
  • Great communicator and good people skills.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
