The impact you will have in this role:
Candidate will lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of an accelerated enterprise patch management and observability program supporting the organization’s Mythos cyber response strategy. This role is responsible for driving rapid, large-scale patch deployment using SCCM (MECM) and Microsoft Intune, while establishing real-time observability and automated remediation capabilities to monitor and protect the enterprise during active patching cycles. The position plays a critical role in reducing vulnerability exposure, maintaining endpoint stability, and ensuring operational resilience across a global digital workplace.Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of an accelerated patching model leveraging SCCM (MECM) and Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, and third-party applications.
- Drive co-managed endpoint strategies to optimize patch deployment speed, coverage, and reliability across hybrid environments.
- Ensure rapid deployment of critical and zero-day patches aligned to Mythos response timelines (e.g., 24–48-hour SLAs).
- Establish deployment rings, pilot groups, and phased rollout controls to balance speed with system stability.
- Continuously improve patch success rates through telemetry-driven insights and remediation actions.
- Design and implement real-time monitoring of enterprise health during patch deployment cycles using tools such as SysTrack, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and endpoint telemetry platforms.
- Proactively identify performance degradation (CPU, memory, disk, application failures) and patch-related anomalies during rollout.
- Establish automated alerting and response mechanisms to mitigate issues before they impact end-user experience.
- Create live operational dashboards providing visibility into:
- Patch compliance and deployment status
- Endpoint performance and stability
- Failure rates and remediation progress
- Partner with Security, Endpoint Engineering, VDI, Application Packaging, and Operations teams to deliver coordinated patching and monitoring outcomes.
- Collaborate directly with external vendors to resolve application-related performance issues (e.g., high CPU or memory utilization during patching events).
- Provide clear executive-level reporting on patch progress, enterprise health, and risk exposure.
- Drive accountability across teams for patch readiness, application compatibility, and operational performance.
- Ensure patching processes and monitoring controls are fully documented, measurable, and audit-ready.
Talents Needed for Success:
- 6+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, endpoint management, or infrastructure operations, with leadership responsibility.
- Deep hands-on expertise with:
- SCCM (MECM) and Microsoft Intune (co-management preferred)
- Enterprise patch management at scale
- Endpoint observability and telemetry platforms
- Proven experience implementing automation and large-scale patching strategies.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, cyber response, and enterprise risk mitigation.
Additional Exp:
- Experience with Azure, AVD, Windows 365, or cloud-managed endpoints.
- Familiarity with DEX frameworks and endpoint experience monitoring tools (e.g., SysTrack/Lakeside).
- Experience building real-time monitoring solutions tied to operational events (e.g., patch cycles).
- ITIL alignment and experience in regulated enterprise environments.
