For dsm-firmenich's Large Capital Projects global department, we are looking for a Senior Manager for our Project Management Office. In this exciting global role you will be driving Training & Learning, Networks & Peering, Knowledge Sharing & Continous Improvement, CAPEX Work Processes, and Value Practices to a high performing level. Key to be successful in this role is a 20+ years of experience in projects ranging from 10-100 mln Euro investment, excellent English speaking and writing, showing seniority and content authority in multiple disciplines, having excellent organization, facilitating, didactic, and easy connecting skills, while showing an international (global) experience and mindset.

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Owning and driving the Value Practices Work Process. Continuous improve and maintain excellent practices, and ensure effective Value Practice trainings.
  • Drive Training & Learning in all aspects.
    • Own, develop and maintain training programs. Ensure employees are trained accordingly.
    • Continuously connect and peer with the external world on relevant trends, and translate this back to improvements for the large capital projects department.
    • Driving knowledge sharing & continuous improvement, by leading the Lessons Learned process, driving the large capital projects learning platform, and promote, set-up, and ensure effective mentoring & coaching.
  • Owning, driving, continuous improve and maintain the dsm-firmenich CAPEX Work Process. Provide immediate and practical added value to the projects in the region. Ensure effective CAPEX Work Process trainings.

 

You bring

 

  • 15-20 years of experience in the field of large capital projects, between 10-100 mln Euro
  • Showing seniority and content authority (by proven track record) in multiple disciplines within the CAPEX workfield (e.g. project management, project engineering, project control management, project procurement management).
  • Organization and facilitating skills, with didactic skills preferred, sociable, easy connector
  • International (global) experience and mindset
  • Strong communication in English (written and spoken)
