Job title – Lead Specialist, Technical Development, Perfumery and Beauty

Under general supervision, this job assists Technical Director / Manager in category innovation and client projects, be involved in technology promotion, and also perform routine laboratory work (hands-on).

Your key responsibilities

• Assist / support TD Director and Manager in their projects for multiple product categories and clients. Assist / support TD Director and Manager to implement fragrance technology across categories
• Coordinate people from different teams to get the job done. keep proper & detailed documentation on laboratory work
• Analyse data, write project reports and make recommendation. Conduct presentation (technical content) to internal & if required, to external clients 
• Possible to be involved in promoting technology to clients. Quite adept in carrying out hands on job and perform routine & complex laboratory work in compliance to established HSE rules
• Manage lab supply. Manage administrative internal systems / tasks
• Maintain the laboratory and equipments as well as cleanliness of workplace. Follow established HSE rules and proactively propose improvement

You bring

• University degree (at least BSc) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other science degree
• Have work experience of at least 1 year in technical field / development lab (preferably in F&F industry or consumer goods company) 
• Have a passion & curiousity for learning. Able to work independently in an organized & meticulous way
• Diligent, motivated worker and with integrity. Team player with good communication skills
• Possess basic computer skills (power point, excel & words)
