About the role

In this role, you will be playing a pivotal role to ensure that internal and external enablement programming is designed, project managed, delivered and maintained as first in class experiences adhering to industry best practices and standards.

This is initially an individual contributor role that requires strong enablement and educational programming design experience, ability to plan multiple quarter roadmaps and projects and turn strategy into tactical execution and delivery. This person will be able to seek out and develop key relationships within the company and will have an aptitude for resolving subjects/topics that are of importance to the audience. 

Additionally, you will be collaborating, designing and deploying enablement programming for Dremio staff. This programming includes but is not limited to eLearning, documentation, badges, certifications, workshops and any other methods that are appropriate for ensuring field teams are as prepared as possible to position, sell and use Dremio. 

What you'll be doing

Working cross functionally with product, services engineering, marketing, human resources and pre-sales leadership you will:

  • Establish, own, collect signoff and present upwards on a multi-quarter, multi-department cross functional roadmap for enablement content and programming. 
  • Identify stakeholders and SMEs for content development and review; coordinate and lead stakeholder review and input cycles, and drive instructional design requirements.
  • Seek opportunities for new programs that materially impact the company performance, empower employees to create new value with Dremio. 
  • Repurpose internal enablement programming for the purposes of enabling our partners to deliver value on Dremio to our customers. 

In coordination with other Dremio colleagues, you will: 

  • Inventory the existing enablement content to determine opportunities to improve and ensure content is and stays current and relevant.
  • Collect and synthesize feedback for input into the course development to implement best practices for learning innovation and improvement for future iterations of either general or department specific enablement. 
  • Gamify the employee journey with badges, which are also used internally as well as externally by customers and partners. 

What we're looking for

  • Instructional design and programming development and deployment experience in an industry related to data analytics. 
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with a proven track record of successful program delivery and impact. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a big data and/or analytics environment.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees/
  • Experience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement plans as well as maintaining cross departmental roadmaps. 
  • Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, and prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly.
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication ability in English.

Bonus points if you have

  • Familiarity with big data infrastructure such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.
  • Familiarity with data engineers and architects 
  • Familiarity with cloud-native analytics solutions 
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI 
  • Experience working with public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP
