As a software engineer, you'll work within cross-functional delivery teams alongside other engineers, designers, and product managers in building software to help improve healthcare.  

About You

• You enjoy leading software engineering projects and prioritize the iterative delivery of high-quality solutions.
• You are self-motivated and able to manage yourself -- but don't worry, we're here to help you grow!
  
• You are well-versed in software architecture and engineering best practices, and apply them with a high degree of pragmatism.
• You have deep knowledge of full stack web development using frameworks like Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• You have a strong foundation in SQL, with experience optimizing schema designs and queries.

Here's How You Will Make an Impact

• Lead technical projects within the Newsfeed team; do requirements analysis, explore problem and solution spaces, and build high-quality products that add value.
• Collaborate with other teams to build and maintain integration points with the Newsfeed platform using technologies such as GraphQL and Kafka.
• Evolve the architecture and software to scale with both user and data growth in an extensible and resilient way.
  
• Advance the Newsfeed experience by creating modern user interfaces using Vue.js.

Compensation

The US total compensation range for this full-time position is $175,000 - $220,000 (inclusive of salary + equity) Our ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Please note that the compensation listed does not include benefits.
