Electrical Senior Project Engineer

Location: Beenleigh, QLD, Australia

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced and motivated Electrical Senior Project Engineer to join our growing team delivering major projects across the Water business unit within our Energy and Utilities business. This role will be a residential role based in Brisbane.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing engineering solutions to effectively deliver your assigned project components or discipline packages. You will work closely with Design Leads, Project Managers, Commissioning Leads, and multidisciplinary teams to manage and lead engineering and project delivery activities from concept through to completion.

What we are looking for 

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) Qualification or demonstration of working towards by obtaining within the next 6 months
• Project engineering experience within the Industrial or commercial industry (Minimum 7 years). 
• Management of subcontractors
• Competency in reviewing, development construction drawings and documentation
• Accurate record keeping and documentation
• Financial management and reporting, including budgeting

• Experience in quality assurance and controls in project delivery
