Senior Project Manager

Location: London, England, Home based / with some regional travel, Remote
- Lead the successful delivery of strategic projects, ensuring objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards are achieved.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, registers and documentation, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to project sponsors and programme boards.
- Act as the central point of contact for project governance, planning and delivery.
- Engage and coordinate stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users throughout project lifecycles to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, dependencies and changes to scope.
- Support the development of business cases to secure project approval and funding.
- Champion project management best practice and coach colleagues across the charity.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project management frameworks, templates and documentation to ensure consistency and quality across DofE.
What we are looking for:
- Significant experience of successfully delivering projects from initiation through to completion, within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong planning, monitoring and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate progress against milestones and outcomes.
- Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A diplomatic and collaborative approach to cross-functional working.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software.
- A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, is essential.

**The geographical allowance is based on a member of staff having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
