AWS DevOps Engineer

• Cloud Architecture – Design and optimize scalable, cost-efficient AWS infrastructure.
• Developer Enablement – Build self-service tools for seamless deployment and operations.
• IaC & Automation – Automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.
• Event-Driven Systems – Develop scalable, decoupled, high-availability architectures.
• Security & Compliance – Enforce best practices in security, networking, and cost optimization.
• Continuous Improvement – Enhance CI/CD, monitoring, and automation for reliability.
• Technical Leadership – Collaborate across teams, drive initiatives, and foster best practices.

• 5+ years of experience working in DevOps, SRE or cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS (or equivalent experience with GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Serverless Framework, with a strong understanding of automation best practices.
• Expertise in containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS), ECS, or Nomad.
• Proven experience with observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or New Relic to ensure system reliability.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, security and compliance best practices, including IAM policies, VPC design, firewalls, and encryption standards.
• Programming and scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or Go) to automate workflows and system tasks.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures (e.g., AWS SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Kinesis) and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of projects.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and documentation skills.
