About the role

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded creative to support the sales, marketing and insight teams with their design needs.

This is a fast-paced role, where you will help bring ideas to life, whether that be a partnership strategy response, an insight narrative or event branding.

The responsibilities of the role include a consistent high level of quality in everything you do, meeting project deadlines, generate innovative ideas and produce supporting user journey visuals for pitch presentations. The candidate will be a good team worker, very organised and attentive, constantly looking to improve.

 

 Main Responsibilities

• To assist with supporting the Metro sales and marketing teams design needs
• Work in partnership with other designers, sales and marketing insight teams to produce materials that appeal to clients and agencies. This will include but is not limited to:

 

• PowerPoint Design
• Bespoke templates
• Designed presentations
• Mock-ups (static and animated)
• One Pagers
• Event branding

 

• Be the main point of contact for the Metro team

 

 

Person Specification

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a commercial/marketing environment
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator InDesign, AfterEffects
• A good knowledge of print and digital media

Skills

• Able to respond well to direction, or lack of direction in some instances, under pressure and within short-time scales
• Excellent general design skills and a good eye for details
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a team, but also on own initiative with a flexible attitude
• Able to bring commercial proposals to life through the development of client-focussed mock-ups
• Good understanding of the online marketplace
• Keen to learn more and develop your design skills
• Confident and resilient to constructive criticism
