Product Engineering
Product Engineering is a unified team responsible for the engineering of Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms. This includes product engineering, media engineering, quality assurance, engineering behind personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity.
Job Summary
The NCPF Adoption and Orchestration team builds systems that provide platform abstraction across multiple partners and devices. We implement reliable, scalable services and processes that help coordinate efforts across NCPF, Media Engineering, and Brand Alliances. We are looking for a software engineer who wants to build and operate these critical services that support all NCPF Teams!

Responsibilities
Build and operate systems for providing platform abstraction for NCPF products across all Brands
- Coordinate and review requests across NCPF, Brands Alliances, and Media Engineering
- Build and operate systems for testing automation of products across all Brands
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science in CS (or related) and 3 years of experience
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Rust, or other lower-level programming languages, and a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases, etc.)
- Experience using source control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Champion cross-team projects.
- Collaborate efficiently with product management, technical program management, operations, and other engineering teams to capture requirements, drive implementation, and provide transparency.
- A broad perspective on problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to share your knowledge with team members and others at Disney.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in bash scripting
- Experience with application development on console devices, such as Xbox, PlayStation, etc.
- Experience with application development for Set-Top Box providers
