How you will contribute to our magical experience?:
The Analyst, Credits & Collections will play a critical role in maintaining a healthy cash flow by managing and optimizing our collections processes. You will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of more than 100 customer accounts. You will also be responsible for reporting collections, identifying discrepancies, and monitoring their resolution. We are looking for a candidate with advanced English language skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and preferably, experience with Power Query and Power BI. To excel in this role, we are seeking a proactive and team-oriented individual with a positive attitude and strong motivation.
The Analyst, Credits and Collections will be responsible for:
- Manage a portfolio of more than 100 customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Contact customers via phone and email to follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to facilitate collections efforts.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns regarding billing and payments.
- Work closely with internal areas such as Sales, Finance, Treasury, Billing, Cash Application, Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure accurate and efficient collections processes.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payment plans, and disputes.
- Generate and maintain reports on accounts receivables.
- Utilize Power Query and Power BI to extract, transform, and visualize data.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to provide insights into collections performance.
- Contribute to the quarterly Bad Debt reserve analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- 1-2 years of experience in similar positions.
- Preferred Industries: Entertainment, Multinational
- Experience in SSC work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or university studies in progress.
- Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulae.
- Knowledge of SAP FI at an intermediate level.
- Experience with Power Query and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, positive attitude, proactive, and a strong team player, strong motivation.
- Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable is a plus.
