Electronics Engineer - Contract 6-month

What you will get to do:
- The engineer would be responsible for Electronics Manufacturing of 4 Printed Circuit Boards, wiring harnesses, connectors and connection to internal battery power. Travel to supplier (estimating 3 to 5 times over the 6-month project duration) would be periodically necessary to support this project.
- Documentation of process development and validations will be needed to complete full integration of designed components to bridge in Verification and Validation activities (process development, process validation, production documentation)
- Review of prior project learnings and outputs
- PCB schematics and documentation input
- Electronics and assembly of prototypes
- Lead manufacturing support during spins with supplier
- Process development for the boards
- Detailed electrical documentation
- Work closely with internal and contract manufacturers to develop processes for electro-mechanical assembly including PCBA manufacturing, potting, soldering, pressing, plastic injection molding, torquing and manual assembly
- Lead or support capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment, contract negotiation, installation, and validation
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
- Select equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements
- Work with quality engineers to develop component specific testing and inspection protocols
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis
- Lead and/or participate in process review meetings.
- Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plan, SOP and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) generation associated with launches
- Complete capability studies for in-process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation
- Review and approval of validation documentation

- Experience with electrical test specifications and equipment

- Experience with detailed documentation to support electronics production in a regulated industry
