Job Description:
Responsible for extracting, managing, and analyzing data within Discover. Must conduct research on business data to communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Should be knowledgeable on analytical tools to set up processes and systems that make working with data more efficient within the company. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
This high-visibility role directly contributes to the business unit’s profitable growth by supporting Sales, Marketing, and Financial Planning teams with insights drawn from complex data. In this position, you will collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders, including Sales leadership, marketing technology professionals, Salesforce Administrators, and financial analysts, to empower data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for gathering, structuring, and analyzing data and providing recommendations to management.
- Presents the results of data analyses with recommendations to management and process owners.
- Partners with the business to identify the appropriate data sources and analysis methodology to meet business needs.
- Coaches and guides less experienced analytical professionals in statistical concepts, principles, and tools.
- Supports the development of standard & ad hoc data analyses, reports, and dashboards. Demonstrates technical knowledge in analytical tools.
- Collaborates with the Marketing Technology Manager to recommend optimal solutions for collecting and analyzing accounts’ lifecycle data.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in Data analysis and relevant toolsets, or related
- In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications

- SQL statistical applications, such as SQL and/or SAS
- Snowflake, Tableau Cloud, Salesforce CRM Analytics, Excel Power Pivot, and Excel VBA
- Salesforce or Tableau certifications
- Financial services/Payments experience or familiarity

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package.
