Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Work on holistic software solutions across different stages of the SDLC and determine technology patterns for the overall solution. Oversee design and implementation of products assigned to the team. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policy. 20% travel required.
Requirements: Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 3 years of experience in Software Developer or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 1 year of experience in Software Developer or related occupation.
Position required skills: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation with a Bachelor’s degree OR One (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation with a Master’s degree: working with Cloudification, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines; utilizing data architecture and ingestion; performing streaming and real-time data platform engineering; working with SQL and NoSQL database systems; utilizing API and Microservices in modern programming languages; and troubleshooting automated pipelines.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $102,690.00 to $146,100.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
