Senior Java Developer - Remote Work Type

About project:

We are looking for a Java Developer for our Swedish client who will participate in developing a product to automate business processes, ensuring they run smoothly and eliminating the need to spend time on recalculating various product configurations during business negotiations.

Responsibility:

• As a Java Developer you will be developing the core CPQ software for an international software company, building scalable solutions that will become part of the company’s standard product offering;
• You will be implementing feature requirements to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of the company’s core software, ensuring it meets evolving business needs;
• You will be working on an innovative framework designed by the client, written in Java, and if desired, contributing actively to its development process, shaping its growth and evolution;
• You will be collaborating within a diverse international team, including architects, and developers with varied backgrounds and seniority levels, maintaining close contact with Product Management for alignment on project goals;
• You will be working within an agile methodology, participating in sprints and adapting to iterative development processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software development;
• Solid Java skills and confidence in building scalable backend systems (experience with other modern stacks is also valued);
• Comfortable working across the stack (JavaScript, TypeScript a plus);
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS;
• A practical approach to solving problems and delivering value;
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

• SaaS experience;
• Familiarity with test automation;
• DevOps mindset.
