Senior Ruby Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable, fault-tolerant backend solutions in collaboration with team members.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, ensuring adherence to best engineering practices.
• Conduct and actively participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.
• Develop and enhance backend applications that power our cutting-edge AdTech platform.
• Research new technologies and architectural improvements to optimize performance and reliability.
• Quickly gain deep product knowledge and contribute to system architecture while delivering production-ready code.
• Write robust, well-tested code that scales efficiently under high traffic.

Job Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Experience working with legacy code.
• Strong expertise in writing unit tests and automated tests to ensure code quality.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, including cloud infrastructure best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL, with practical experience in query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with key-value stores like Redis or Memcached for caching and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for writing efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
