Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a technically proficient IT Network Analyst with strong expertise in virtualisation and cyber defence to join CyTEC. You should have hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms, competency in enterprise IT infrastructure, and the ability to deploy virtual networks for training purposes. We seek someone who can serve as a technical expert while staying current with emerging cyber threats, contributing to Singapore's cyber defence capabilities through innovative training solutions at our world-class facility.
What You Will Do
- Assist in building IT aspects of exercise networks and cyber defence toolsets for CyTEC training programmes
- Oversee maintenance of computing and networking infrastructure housed within CyTEC facilities
- Serve as the main technical expert in building virtual networks using hypervisor and virtualisation solutions such as ESXi and VMware
- Integrate virtual networks with operational technology testbeds, prototypes, and digital twins to create comprehensive training environments
- Stay current with emerging IT developments to ensure CyTEC's systems remain ahead of anticipated SAF operational requirements
- Enable expedient development of relevant training networks when new operational needs arise
- Create and maintain realistic training environments that simulate the complexities of defending IT systems in operational contexts
What You Will Bring
- Degree in Computer Networks, Computer Science, or related cyber disciplines, or relevant certifications (CCENT, Network+, CCNP, GDAT, GCIH, GCFA, GNFA, GREM, GPEN, GXPN, OSCP, OSCE)
- Demonstrated competency in enterprise IT infrastructure including computer, networking, and virtualisation technologies
- Hands-on experience with virtualisation platforms such as VMware and ESXi
- Ability to deploy and manage virtual and segmented IT networks for training or exercise purposes
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of cyber defence, monitoring, and investigation tools
- Experience supporting cyber exercises, testbeds, or training environments
- Relevant networking and virtualisation certifications such as CCNA or VMware Certified Professional (advantageous)
