We are looking for a senior web developer to accelerate the delivery and reliable operation of enterprise data governance portals. The role combines hands-on frontend engineering with end-to-end DevOps ownership across development, testing, release, support, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work from the Prague office and collaborate closely with the local project team and stakeholders across the data management organization.

You will design, develop, review, and maintain frontend features based on prioritized user stories and agreed acceptance criteria. You will complete and extend core Data Portal capabilities, including data-access workflows, approvals, notifications, and status transparency, while developing a data owner cockpit that provides visibility into data contracts, pending approvals, and relevant actions. In addition, you'll build and enhance self-service capabilities for data quality validation and the presentation of validation results.

Working across both React and Vue.js applications, you will support the evolution of the broader portal landscape and integrate frontend solutions with SharePoint-based services and workflow automation where applicable. You'll also create and maintain automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps, while planning and executing testing, release preparation, and production deployments in line with established change management processes.

As part of the role, you will provide office-hours support, investigate production issues, deliver bug fixes, and continuously improve service stability. You'll produce maintainable source code, technical documentation, operational guidance, and release documentation, collaborating closely with product owners, UX specialists, data governance experts, architects, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Finally, you'll mentor colleagues, promote engineering best practices, and actively contribute to code quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

• Several years of professional experience in web application or frontend development, including ownership of production solutions.
• Expert-level capability in at least one modern frontend framework: Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Strong JavaScript skills; practical TypeScript experience is highly desirable.
• Solid knowledge of component-based architecture, state management, routing, API integration, responsive design, and browser debugging.
• Hands-on experience with source control and collaborative engineering workflows in GitHub.
• Practical CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Experience translating user stories and acceptance criteria into tested, production-ready software.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including diagnosis and resolution of defects.
• Experience deploying and supporting business-critical web applications in a DevOps operating model.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English and willingness to work from the Prague office.

Nice to have:

• SharePoint as a backend or integration platform, including familiarity with SharePoint APIs and authentication patterns.
• Microsoft Power Automate for approvals, notifications, and workflow automation.
• Docker and Kubernetes for local development, packaging, deployment, or operational support.
• Contribution to, integration with, or operation of open-source software.
• Experience with data governance, metadata catalogs, data quality, data contracts, access-management workflows, or approval processes.
• Knowledge of accessibility, secure frontend development, performance optimization, and observability.
• Experience working with distributed teams in an enterprise environment.
